The 4JJ1 engine assembly (part number YA00090634) is the original power unit of the Hitachi ZX130-6A (approximately 13 ton class) crawler excavator. The overall working mass of this model is about 13100kg, equipped with a new generation engine that meets the National IV emission standards, with a rated power (net) of 74.9kW (102PS). This assembly includes a complete set of components such as the engine body, high-pressure common rail fuel system, turbocharger, after treatment filter (DPF/DOC), and supporting wiring harness. Its installation interface and control protocol are fully matched with the HIOS IV hydraulic system and vehicle electronic control of ZX130-6A. This assembly may also be compatible with similar tonnage models such as ZX130-5A and ZX140-6A, but it is recommended to refer to Hitachi's original parts catalog to ensure consistency in the model.

The core of this product is the Isuzu 4JJ1 series 3.0L inline four cylinder diesel engine, which adopts electric high-pressure common rail technology, with an injection pressure of 180MPa and equipped with a VGS variable cross-section turbocharger to ensure low-speed and high torque output. The engine adopts DOHC overhead dual camshaft, 16 valve design, and maintenance free timing chain transmission. The cast iron cylinder body undergoes high-frequency quenching, and the aluminum alloy cylinder head and piston reduce weight. The net weight of the whole machine is about 313kg (National Fifth Edition). The original assembly has integrated a post-treatment filter, which captures and burns PM particles to meet the requirements of National IV emissions. The assembly has undergone bench durability testing and can operate stably in environments ranging from -30 ℃ to 50 ℃, with a designed lifespan of over 10000 hours.

Before installation, thoroughly clean the engine compartment, check the sealing of all interfaces, and tighten the bracket bolts according to the torque specified in the maintenance manual (usually 120-180N · m). Check the oil level every 250 hours of daily work, and replace the oil, oil filter, and fuel filter every 500 hours (factory recommended CF-4 or higher grade oil). Clean or replace the air filter every 1000 hours and check for leaks in the turbocharger's intake and exhaust pipelines. The post-treatment filter needs to be regenerated regularly (automatically or manually), and if the DPF is clogged, the alarm should be dealt with in a timely manner. Long term storage should drain the fuel system and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. The recommended overhaul cycle is 8000-10000 hours, which requires professional technicians to use original parts. It is strictly prohibited to use inferior fuel or engine oil to avoid damaging the high-pressure common rail system.
