Daily inspection and maintenance: After starting the engine in each shift, monitor the turbocharger to exhaust pipe area in a safe position for any "hissing" air leakage sound; Regularly (e.g. every 500 working hours) visually inspect the connection for blackened oil stains and carbon deposits, which are usually signs of minor leaks.
