The part number is 8973061131, which is the original crankshaft position sensor provided by ISUZU (Isuzu) for the 6HK1 series diesel engine. This component is the core sensing element of the engine electronic control system, used to accurately detect the crankshaft speed and position. Its signal is the reference for controlling the injection timing and ignition sequence (gasoline engine). Its universal models cover various mainstream medium-sized equipment equipped with 6HK1 engines, mainly including Hitachi ZX200-3, ZX270-3, EX200-3, Komatsu PC200-8, PC220-8 and other 20-22 ton hydraulic excavators, and may also be used for some domestic equipment on the same platform. As the core sensor of the original factory, its installation size, electrical characteristics, and deep binding with the engine ECU program

This product is a Hall effect crankshaft position sensor, with a cylindrical body and a silver metal detection head at the front end. It is internally packaged with a precision chip; The rear end is a black engineering plastic base, integrated with installation flanges and wire harness outlets. A black oil and high temperature resistant shielded cable is led out from the base and connected to a gray multi pin rectangular plug at the end, which is equipped with a locking buckle. Its working principle is to detect the position changes of the gear teeth on the signal disc (target wheel) that rotates synchronously with the crankshaft, and output accurate square wave signals. The working voltage is usually 5V or 12V, with high output signal frequency and strong anti-interference ability.
Installation specifications: 1 Cleaning: Before installation, the sensor mounting hole, crankshaft signal disc tooth surface, and new sensor detection head must be thoroughly cleaned with a lint free cloth. 2. Check the gap: During installation, a specified air gap (usually 0.5-1.5mm, see maintenance manual for details) must be maintained between the front end of the sensor and the top of the signal plate teeth. This gap is crucial as it can cause signal errors if it is too large or too small. Special feeler gauges can be used for inspection. 3. Torque tightening: Use a torque wrench to tighten the fixing bolts to the specified torque (usually only 8-12 N · m). Overtightening may damage the sensor or change the air gap. 4. Reliable connection: Ensure that the electrical plug is properly plugged in and locked to prevent water ingress, oil ingress, or vibration loosening.
