The original fan belt part number 8973628150 (also written as 8-97362815-0) is the core transmission component of the cooling system for the ISUZU 4HK1 series diesel engines (displacement 5.2L, power 129-157kW). This belt is mainly suitable for medium-sized excavators from brands such as Hitachi, Sumitomo, and Case that are equipped with 4HK1 engines, such as Hitachi ZX200-3, ZX210-3, Sumitomo SH200-5, SH240-5, Case CX210B, CX240B, etc. Its common models are often labeled as 4HK1 and 6HK1 series, belonging to the V-Belt Multi rib specification. It is usually wrapped between the engine crankshaft pulley, fan pulley, tensioner, and water pump/generator pulley, responsible for synchronously transmitting crankshaft power to the cooling fan, water pump, and generator, ensuring stable operation of engine heat dissipation, coolant circulation, and power supply.

This product is an original multi wedge belt made of high-strength chloroprene rubber and polyester/steel wire rope reinforcement layer composite material. It has 8-10 longitudinal wedge-shaped ribs on the surface, which precisely mesh with the grooves of the pulley, providing high friction coefficient and low slip transmission performance. Its internal tensile layer can withstand a continuous tension of ≥ 1200N, and the external rubber layer has oil resistance, high temperature resistance (long-term working temperature -30 ℃ to+120 ℃), and ozone aging resistance characteristics. The standard length of the belt is approximately 1140-1155mm (corresponding to specifications such as 8PK1140, 8PK1155, etc.), with a width of 25mm, a thickness of 8.5mm, and a wedge angle of 40 °, ensuring complete matching with the pulley system of the ISUZU 4HK1 engine, achieving smooth transmission, low noise (≤ 75dB), and long life (design life ≥ 5000 hours).

Suggest checking the surface of the belt every 200 working hours for cracks, fissures, delamination, and edge wear; Press the middle of the belt with your hand, and the normal deflection should be 10-15mm (too loose can cause slipping, too tight can accelerate bearing wear). Fault diagnosis: If there is insufficient fan speed, high engine water temperature, flashing charging indicator light or sharp squeaking sound, it may be due to belt slippage, aging or insufficient tension. The tension can be measured using a belt tension meter (standard value 350-500N), or observe whether there is a shiny mirror surface (slip marks) on the back of the belt. Key points for replacement: Before replacement, turn off the engine and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery; Rotate the tension wheel bolt counterclockwise with a 13mm wrench to release tension; Record the winding path of the belt during disassembly; When installing a new belt, ensure that the rib groove is fully embedded in the pulley, tighten it clockwise to the standard deflection, and tighten the tensioner bolt (torque 25-35N · m)
