Isuzu original adapter (universal part number: 8976029021, also commonly written as 897602-9021) is a key connecting component between the turbocharger and the engine exhaust manifold, commonly referred to as the turbocharger connection plate or exhaust adapter. This original spare part is designed specifically for excavators equipped with Isuzu 6HK1 series electronic fuel injection diesel engines, mainly suitable for Hitachi ZX330-3, ZX350-3, ZX350H-3F, ZX350LC-3F, ZX400LCH-3, ZX400W-3 and other models of excavators. As a part of the exhaust system, it is responsible for smoothly and leak free directing the high-temperature exhaust gases emitted by the engine from the exhaust manifold into the turbine end of the turbocharger to drive its operation.
 

This adapter is a key structural and sealing component in the turbocharging system, with its core function being to reliably connect the exhaust manifold to the turbocharger and withstand extreme operating conditions. As an original component, it is usually cast or forged from high-temperature resistant and anti-oxidation special alloy steel (such as heat-resistant stainless steel), which can withstand the continuous high temperature exhaust gas of up to 900 ° C and severe thermal shock emitted by the engine. It is recommended to check whether the bolts at the connection between the adapter, exhaust manifold, and turbocharger are loose every 500 hours of work or during regular maintenance, and re tighten them according to the original factory specified torque. At the same time, observe whether there are black carbon deposits caused by exhaust gas leakage or hear a "hissing" sound of gas leakage at the connection point.
