Part number 8983344820 is the original crankshaft front oil seal provided by ISUZU (Isuzu) for 6HK1 series diesel engines (such as 6HK1-TCS, 6HK1-TCN, etc.). This component is mainly used to seal the front end of the engine crankshaft and the timing gear cover, preventing oil leakage outward. Its universal model clearly covers all 6HK1 engines using this design, and may be compatible with some derivative models such as 4HK1 and 6HK1-X on the same platform. As the core rotating shaft seal of the original factory, its inner diameter, outer diameter, and thickness are precisely matched with the oil seal seat hole of the engine front cover and the crankshaft journal

This product is a bimetallic skeleton rubber oil seal, presenting an inner and outer dual ring structure. The outer layer is a high-strength steel skeleton in light gray color, providing support for installation stiffness and interference fit. The inner layer is a black FKM or ACM sealing lip, integrated with a self tightening spring to ensure continuous clamping force on the crankshaft journal. Its sealing lip is specially ground and coated with anti stick coating to achieve low friction start-up and long-lasting sealing. The working temperature range can reach -30 ℃ to+200 ℃, and it can withstand the high temperature, chemical corrosion, and high-speed rotation of engine oil and crankshaft (with a speed of over 3000 rpm) for a long time. It is the most critical dynamic seal at the front end of the engine.

Installation specifications (key): 1 Cleaning: Before installation, the engine front cover oil seal seat hole and crankshaft journal must be thoroughly cleaned with non-woven fabric to ensure that there are no burrs or residual old sealant. 2. Lubrication: Apply a layer of clean engine oil evenly to the sealing lip and inner hole of the new oil seal. 3. Positive pressing: Special installation tools or appropriately sized sleeves must be used to ensure that the oil seal is absolutely horizontal and evenly vertically pressed into the seat hole until it is fully in place. It is strictly prohibited to directly strike the metal casing of the oil seal with a hammer to avoid deformation and seal failure.
