4675640 Excavator Air Cleaner for EX3600-6

Part number 4675640 is an original air filter (main filter element) specially designed by Hitachi for the EX3600-6 ultra large mining hydraulic excavator. The universal model of this component mainly covers EX3600-6 and its large tonnage models on the same platform, and may also be applicable to EX3600-5, EX4000 and other models with similar working conditions and engine intake requirements. As the first barrier of the original intake system, its external dimensions, sealing structure, and flow characteristics are precisely matched with the large air filter housing

This product is a large cylindrical dry air filter element. The main body of the filter element is a thick black cylindrical shape, and the surface is uniformly covered with a dark gray non-woven fabric pre filtration layer or polyurethane coating. This rough texture can achieve initial deep filtration and adsorb larger particles. The top end cover is made of sturdy engineering plastic, with a uniformly distributed circular hole designed on it to form the main clean air outlet, which is directly connected to the clean air chamber inside the shell. It uses high-performance cellulose and synthetic fiber mixed filter paper internally, which is treated with special resin and has extremely high filtration accuracy (usually able to block particles of 99.9% or more and 5 microns or more) and pollutant holding capacity. It is designed specifically for extreme high dust environments in mines and can effectively protect turbocharger and engine cylinders.

Inspection and cleaning cycle: In the harsh working conditions of the EX3600-6 mine, it is recommended to inspect and clean the main filter every 250 working hours (or shorter, depending on the dust situation). When there is excessive dust accumulation on the surface of the pre filter layer of the filter element or visible dust on the safety filter element (internal filter), it should be treated or replaced immediately. Cleaning method: Use dry compressed air with a pressure of ≤ 0.5MPa to repeatedly and evenly blow outwards from the inside of the filter element in the direction of wrinkles. It is strictly prohibited to directly blow the surface of the filter paper. After cleaning, it is necessary to check whether the filter paper is damaged in a bright place.
