The original fuel filter part number 4679980 is the core component of the fuel filtration system provided by Hitachi Construction Machinery for the ZX200-3 hydraulic excavator (equipped with 4HK1 engine). Replacement cycle: It is recommended to replace every 500 working hours or every 6 months (whichever comes first); If frequently in dusty environments or using low-quality diesel, it should be shortened to every 250 working hours. Replacement steps: 1 Release the fuel system pressure (unplug the fuel pump relay, start the engine until it stalls); 2. Position the filter (usually located on the engine compartment or chassis oil pipe); 3. Disassemble the old parts (place the oil pan below and loosen the oil pipe clamp); 4. Install new parts (pay attention to the arrow indicating the fuel flow direction and ensure that the sealing ring is intact); 5. System re inspection (start the engine and run it at idle speed, check that there is no leakage at each interface). Fault diagnosis: If there is a decrease in engine power, difficulty starting, or idle shaking, check if the filter is clogged; If the water in fuel warning light is on, drain or replace the filter element.
