Part number 4688140 is an original full flow filter cartridge produced by Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. in the Philippines. It is a pure pressure pipeline filter element used for hydraulic or lubrication systems. Its universal models cover Hitachi EX series ultra large hydraulic excavators, including EX3600-6, EX3600-5, EX2600-6, EX1900-6 and other mining excavators with a capacity of over 200 tons. As the designated high-pressure pipeline filter element by the original factory, its interface size and filtration accuracy are perfectly matched with the high-pressure hydraulic circuit (such as the main pump outlet, pilot system) or high flow lubricating oil circuit of the equipment.

This product is a metal shell full flow filter element. The main body of the filter element is a silver gray metal cylinder, using high-strength stainless steel sintered mesh or multi-layer metal fiber felt as the filter material. The surface is densely covered with uniform micropores, presenting a delicate metallic texture as shown in the picture. High filtration accuracy, usually 10-25 microns, can withstand the full flow of the system. The upper and lower end covers are precision machined metal rings, ensuring structural strength and providing reliable sealing surfaces. The center is a standard threaded interface for easy installation. Its working pressure range can reach 1.0-4.0 MPa, with a burst pressure of ≥ 10.0 MPa, and it can withstand high-pressure impacts from the system. The working temperature range is about -20 ℃ to+120 ℃, which can adapt to the working environment of hydraulic oil or lubricating oil.

Replacement cycle: It is recommended to replace it every 1000 working hours or once a year. In high impact and high pollution conditions such as mining and crushing, it should be shortened to 500-750 working hours. Replacement steps: 1 Shutdown pressure relief: Turn off the engine and operate all control levers to release system pressure. 2. Disassemble old parts: Use a special tool to disassemble the filter housing, remove the old filter, and pay attention to collecting residual oil. 3. Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the filter cartridge seat and the inner wall of the housing with a lint free cloth and specialized cleaning agent. 4. Installation: Apply a small amount of system working fluid to the sealing ring of the new filter element, manually screw the filter element into the base to ensure alignment, and finally tighten it to the specified torque (usually 30-50 N · m) with a torque wrench.
