Part number 0976704 is the original boom holding valve (also known as anti settling valve/locking valve) provided by Hitachi Construction Machinery for the ZX200-5A series 20 ton medium-sized hydraulic excavator. This component is mainly used for the bottom oil circuit of the boom hydraulic cylinder, which cuts off the connection between the cylinder and the main control valve when the control rod returns to the neutral position, preventing the boom from naturally sinking due to its own weight. Its universal models cover 20 ton models such as Hitachi ZX200-5A, ZX200-5G, EX200-5, as well as some older excavators on equivalent platforms such as ZX200-3 and EX200-3. As an original precision hydraulic valve, its oil port size, pilot pressure parameters, and main control valve block are precisely matched. The use of non-standard auxiliary parts is strictly prohibited to avoid causing the boom to fall off, operation failure, or abnormal hydraulic system pressure.

This product is an original pilot operated hydraulic control check valve, which usually includes a valve body, main valve core, pilot piston, spring, and overflow mechanism. Typical technical parameters: working pressure ≤ 35MPa, pilot control pressure 1.5-3.0MPa, opening pressure difference ≤ 0.5MPa, leakage rate < 5mL/min. The valve body material is ductile iron or alloy steel, and the valve core and piston are carburized, quenched, and precision ground (hardness HRC58-62). The seals are made of nitrile rubber (NBR) or fluororubber (FKM). Its structure complies with ISO 4401 and GB/T 8107 standards, and can operate stably at oil temperatures ranging from -30 ℃ to+100 ℃, with a response time of ≤ 50ms.

Fault diagnosis: If the boom automatically sinks (falls off), the following steps should be followed to troubleshoot: 1 Check the oil cylinder seal (disconnect the rod chamber oil pipe after lifting the boom and observe for oil leakage); 2. Check the holding valve (open the return pipe after shutdown and observe if there is continuous oil flow). Dismantling and cleaning: After turning off the engine and releasing the hydraulic system pressure, remove the holding valve, rinse the valve core, spring, and oil passage with clean diesel or specialized cleaning agent, and focus on removing metal debris and oil sludge. Check for worn grooves on the cone surface of the valve core and deformation of the spring. Installation testing: 1 Replace all sealing rings (apply an appropriate amount of hydraulic oil); 2. Tighten the installation bolts in a cross sequence (usually with a torque of 40-60N · m); 3. Start the engine and idle for 10 minutes, operate the boom up and down multiple times, and observe for leaks and smooth movement.
