Part number 4263764 is labeled as CLAMP in Hitachi's original factory system; HOSE (hose clamp/throat clamp) belongs to the fastener group of the cooling system and low-pressure pipeline of the whole machine. This item is mainly assembled on Hitachi large tonnage excavator platforms, typically including models such as ZX450, ZX450-3, ZX450-5, ZX470-3, ZX470-5, ZX470H-3, etc. (some channel catalogs also include auxiliary pipeline diagrams associated with ZX200-3 level units). Its installation position is commonly found at the junction of radiator inlet and outlet pipes, engine bypass water pipes, warm air hoses, expansion tank connections, and some low-pressure return/respirator hoses and hard pipe joints - it belongs to the pipeline interface fasteners that maintain sealing by mechanical clamping force, rather than pressure bearing valves.

As a Hitachi original hose clamp, its core mission is only one: to ensure that the interference fit between the hose and the joint (barb/flange) does not fail under vibration, thermal expansion and contraction, and pulse pressure. The "value" of original parts is not in the brand halo, but in four controllable indicators - ① belt material and corrosion resistance treatment (commonly stainless steel belt or galvanized steel, selected according to location, resistant to engine compartment salt spray/mud water/temperature difference circulation); ② The machining accuracy and self-locking of the threaded pair (worm/ratchet mechanism) ensure uniform force, no slipping teeth, and no loosening during tightening; ③ Bandwidth and edge design, spreading the clamping force on the hose to avoid local cutting of adhesive; ④ Remove burrs from the inner ring and round the corners to prevent scratching the outer layer of the hose during installation.

The maintenance logic of clamps is very simple: regular inspection → tighten according to specifications if loose → replace if rusted/damaged/hose bulges, and it is recommended to replace the clamps directly when the hose is removed. Visually inspect every 250 hours or every month for pink/light colored water marks and crystals (coolant leakage signals) under the joint, and check for thickened rust layers or threads covered in mud and oil stains on the outer ring of the clamp body. If the end of the hose is found to be bulging, cracked, or hard with debris, priority should be given to replacing the hose - the old hose with a new clamp is only "temporarily leak free". When reinstalling: ① Confirm that the hose has been completely seated to the bottom (against the shoulder of the joint), and that the clamp body is in the reserved section (barb area) of the joint instead of hanging on the smooth section of the hose; ② Use a screwdriver/socket of appropriate size to gradually tighten until it fits firmly, and do not forcefully twist the hose through; ③ If the original factory location requires specific torque/installation direction (the clamp housing should avoid adjacent parts), construction should be carried out according to the drawing.
